Adam is Chief of Staff for Councilmember Navarro. His portfolio includes the budget, communications, government operations, and state legislation. Prior to working at the Council, he served as Chief of Staff for Senator Richard S. Madaleno, Jr. (District 18) and as Right to Vote Director of FairVote, where he worked on voting rights issues. Adam received his bachelor’s degree from Allegheny College and master’s degree from George Washington University. He is originally from Cleveland, Ohio.
Mayra Cruz-Solis is a Legislative Aide and Outreach Coordinator for the Office of Councilmember Navarro. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and has received training in community empowerment at Impact Silver Spring. She was born in Nicaragua and lives in Germantown. She is married and has one son, an MCPS graduate and a UMBC student majoring in Political Science.
Bertha is Legislative Aide to Councilmember Navarro covering Health and Human Services and Public Safety Committees. She was born in El Salvador and grew up in Montgomery County. She graduated from Wheaton High School. She has an Associate’s Degree in Business from Montgomery College and a Bachelor’s Degree in Policy Studies from Dickinson College.
Alexis is Legislative Aide to Councilmember Navarro. Her portfolio includes the education, economic development, planning, housing, and positive youth development. Prior to working at the Council, she served as Community Outreach Specialist to Congressman John P. Sarbanes (M-03), and Chief of Staff to Delegate Eric Luedtke (District 14).
Aliyah is Legislative Aide and Scheduler to Councilmember Navarro. She covers the Transportation, Infrastructure, Energy and Environment Committee. Prior to working at the County Council, she served as a constituent services specialist to DC Council Chairman Kwame Brown. She received her bachelor’s degree from Howard University.
